L is for Lynn

My original thought for "L" was to go to Lowell and visit the Lowell National Historic Park. But after looking at it, it seemed A) boring and B) really cold to be walking around the canals in February. So instead...I thought we should walk around the cold beaches of Lynn!

So we headed up the north shore to Lynn Shore and Nahant Beach Reservation. A balmy day for February (the temps hit the mid 40's), so we took a walk down the beach. It was thrilling.

After walking for a couple of miles, we got a sense of it and decided to head over to Kowloon for lunch. Kowloon is famous in the Boston area, and harks back to those cheesy Chinese/Polynesian restaurants from the 70's. But the food is great, Red Auerbach used to stop by so often that they named a dish after him, and there are signed photos of Jerry Seinfeld in the lobby. What more could you want for a great day out?

Sticking with the "L" theme, Sage enjoyed some Lemon Chicken.
