E is for Elephant

This past Sunday we completed the "E" Adventure by visiting the famous elephants of the Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford, Mass. This is a small zoo but an excellent one. The two elephants who call Buttonwood home are Ruth and Emily. All the other animals at Buttonwood are from North America, including bison, black bears, and coyotes. A great way to spend a weekend morning!
