The Garden Part 15 -- September 3, 2009

We're still enjoying the fruits of our labor on a regular basis. Last weekend Lynn and Ashley came for a visit and we served them the famous burritos for dinner and veggie omelets with home fries for breakfast. For the omelets, Doug loaded them up with tomatoes and peppers. Then he fried up some of the newly harvested potatoes.

On Sunday night we had steak with mushrooms and corn on the cob (not ours), along with our summer squash, tomato slices, and potatoes.

Last night we wanted to use up a few more tomatoes so we made pizza on a ciabatta topped with home grown tomatoes and basil.
